Great Books About Mental Health & Happiness

Why I recommend it:
From Calm to Headspace to The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck, tidbits of mindfulness and meditation stick in my head – but Dan Harris’ book shows a real-world example of being a professional and working this into how I operate.

Why I recommend it:
Even better than her first book, Allie’s unique self of humor is a great reminder of the journey we’re all on. It’ll make you laugh (which we don’t do enough of), reflect, and remember that there’s a world of people like you.

Why I recommend it:
Watching Kari Byron on MythBusters, we assume “she wanted this career from the start.” Hearing her own telling shows that few [interesting] people have a life that follows a straight-line, and her positivity and optimism come from hard work that we can all model ourselves after.
